MIPIM

This week I find myself in Cannes, in the South of France for the MIPIM festival.

So what is MIPIM?

MIPIM (Marché International des Professionnels de l’Immobilier) is an annual real estate event and conference held in Cannes, France. It brings together real estate professionals, investors, developers, and other stakeholders from around the world to discuss and showcase real estate opportunities, trends, and innovations.

MIPIM was founded in 1990 and has since grown to become one of the largest real estate events in the world, attracting over 26,000 participants from more than 100 countries. The festival usually takes place over four days and features exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and other activities.

MIPIM provides a platform for real estate professionals to connect with potential partners, investors, and clients, as well as to stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the industry. The event covers a wide range of real estate sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality.

Is it worth attending?

Whether MIPIM is worth attending or not largely depends on your specific goals and interests within the real estate industry.

If you are a real estate professional, investor, developer, or otherwise involved in the industry, attending MIPIM can provide valuable opportunities to network with peers, explore potential investment opportunities, and gain insights into the latest trends and innovations. However, attending MIPIM can be costly, with registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation.

Ultimately, whether MIPIM is worth attending depends on your individual goals and priorities.
